Respiratory System

The respiratory system consists of the upper and lower respiratory organs which work together to help one breathe.

Gas exchange, breathing, protection from dust and microbes entering the body are the main functions of respiratory organs. Bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis and sinusitis, COPD, pneumonia are common respiratory illnesses.
